Wood and Paint
2010

I was given wood and this is what I made. When I started I was thinking of creating Lincoln Logs, but I didn't want to build the standard log cabin. I also wanted to used as little material as possible, so no glue or nails. I cut all of the wood into pieces and started creating these forms. I added color to add visual interest and lead the viewer around the sculpture. I chose orange because It went well with the three different types of wood.

I am thinking of continuing this process and filling an entire space with them. Walls, Floor and Ceiling!
